10 Worst Movies I’ve Ever Seen: Movies that Sucked Big Time

Actually no Rob Schneider movie is on this list which should tell you about the movies that are! In all fairness to Rob Schneider I actually loved both “Deuce Bigalow” movies and thought the were really funny
Thank God for DVD. I used to waste $20 plus dollars at a time with all the BS and hassles to go to watch a Movie once or twice a week. Most of them were mediocre. Some were good, some even great and a few sucked Big Time. Here for your enjoyment, off the top of my Head, are the 10 Worst Movies I’ve ever seen, movies that sucked Big Time!
Movies That Sucked Big Time for Me (Listed in alphabetical order. I know you’ll hate me for #6 and call me an idiot, that’s show biz!)
1. Being Human (1994) Robin Williams This has to be the most incoherent boring movie ever made. I kept waiting for something to happen as it felt like watching paint on a wall dry. It never did. Shockingly this snoozer was written by Bill Forsyth who had earlier written the excellent Local Hero (1983) and Gregory’s Girl (1981). WTF, Bill Forsyth?
2. Cold Creek Minor (2003) Dennis Quaid, Sharon Stone If you like movies where “The Butler really did it” and slow paced supernatural thrillers that aren’t supernatural thrillers, this one’s for you.
3. Eagle Eye (2008) The most current movie on this list. A totally souless movie without heart where Shia LaBeouf tries to be Keanu Reeves and fails. The movie thinks it can wow us with endless technology gone haywire. Sorry, “Maximum Overdrive” did it 10,000 times better and that was with trucks and a dynamic AC/DC soundtrack. Did “Eagle Eye” even have a soundtrack cause it was totally unmemorable.
4. Mars Attacks (1996) The only Jack Nicholson movie I’ve seen that sucked. This movie was so funny I forgot to laugh.
5. Men in Black 2 (2002) Tommy Lee Jones Will Smith One of the Worst and most disappointing Sequels I’ve ever seen. It reminds me of the many Direct to Video Releases they did to exploit the excellent “The Howling”. Somehow it felt like the shortest movie I’ve ever seen. Even though its 88 minutes, it practically felt like the movie was over before I sat down.
6. No Country for Old Men (2007) Tommy Lee Jones (again) Javier Bardem No I’m not a sports announcer or sportswriter making outrageous predictions so if by some chance they happen I’ll have the reputation as a genius and if they don’t, I can then look humble and say I was wrong and win praise for my honesty! I know this selection will piss off a lot of people but as far as I’m concerned, if a movie’s ending looks like it could have been taken from the wrong reel, it’s not a good movie! This movie was great until the final 15 minutes or so when it had the worst ending I’ve ever seen for an otherwise great movie. The fact that the rest of this movie was great for me and the ending sucked, still makes this a Movie that Sucks Big Time!
7. The Blair Witch Project (1999) Heather Donahue (Who?) Did you ever go out with a totally beautiful woman and find she’s the worst lover you ever had? That’s what this snoozer was for me. I was expecting fireworks and all I got was a thud. One of the most boring movies I’ve ever seen. The Bernard Madoff of movies!
8. The Forgotten (2004) Julianne Moore This was like foreshadowing “No Country for Old Men”. A really good enjoyable movie whose ending sucked. The Forgotten had a really crappy ending which I’ve really forgotten about, no clever pun, not as bad as No Country’s though, but bad enough, that it made enjoying the first 80 minutes of this sci-fi movie seem a waste.
9. What Dreams May Come (1998) Robin Williams (Do You notice a pattern, here!) How can a movie about the Afterlife be boring. This one was! I admit after the first 40 minutes of this movie, I couldn’t take it anymore and walked out of the movie theater.
10. Wristcutters: A Love Story (2006) Patrick Fugit The premise of this movie sounded really interesting, not that I condone the idea of suicide: Life in an afterlife way station that has been reserved for people who have committed suicide. The move itself sucked and was totally boring. It reminds me of these sports teams that on paper can’t lose, but when they actually play the game, they lose!
If you haven’t seen any of these movies, I’d advise you not to rent the DVDs!
