Written before John McCain said he’d make the debate. I have not deleted my post yet because I believe it gives us some indication of McCain’s thought process.

Every time I turn on the TV, I see this guy’s face everywhere: commercial, TV shows, movies and I didn’t know his name till I had enough and spent hours on the computer to find out. There’s something about the guy that as soon as he makes an appearance somehow you think you’re in for non-stop laughter and I mean that as a compliment. The only actor I ever felt this way was Buster Keaton who in some bizarre way he reminds me of. Anyway, his name is, surprise Frederick Koehler and I’m sure plenty of people know his name because he apparently was a regular on “Kate and Allie”, a TV Show I never saw.

I’ve always been a big fan of NASA and the Space Program, admiring what I consider an incredible success rate all things considering but it took me to mid adult hood till I finally realized it that the bottom line from the outside looking in is, how have we actually materially benefited? I’m not talking about getting answers to scientific questions but how exactly has our standard of living improved by it. We’ve poured billions, maybe trillions into it and what exactly have we gotten back in terms of making our lives better? Before I go on, if any one thinks differently about this, I welcome your comments and may even revise this article to include them with your permission (and a plug for anything you want me llist), as this isn’t intended to be an Anti Nasa Post but just a question of what have we gotten out of our tax dollars in terms of material not intellectual benefit.

I haven’t been psyched waiting for a new CD like Paul Kossoff and Black Cat Bones “Paul’s Blues”, in ages. I didn’t even know that any recordings actually existed with Paul Kossoff and Black Cat Bones who Paul was a member of before he joined Free.

Here’s something to be afraid of

Don’t know if many of you noticed this, I certainly didn’t until I saw something on TV about, about the disparate public reactions to Britney Spears sister Jamie Lynn Spears and Vice President Candidate Sarah Palin’s unwed teenage pregnancy.

The Large Hadron Collider (LHC) won’t happen be at full operation to possibly destroy the world now until early spring 2009, due to an electrical glitch sparked a large helium leak inside the machine’s tunnels. Please check this blog regularly for updates on this.

One thing I’ve never understood in the United States is why fingerprints aren’t required for kids and put in a National Registry Computerized System?

Just saw the 2 Hour Premier of Season 3 of Heroes and while I thought it was very good, it’s also a rip off of Kobe Bryant the Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, the 4400 – a great cancelled TV series and Jeff Goldblum’s the Fly and I can’t say how so dissapointed I am by this.
