If you’re going to die, you may as well do it with style the way Don Doane did on October 16, 2008, in Ravenna, Michigan by becoming the first Bowling Urban Legend, by dying right after he bowled his first 300 Perfect Game at the the Ravenna Bowl. It obviously was a shame that Don [...]

This Blog is purely speculation on my part, but I’m guessing Marshall University and University of Houston Wide Receiver Patrick Edwards will eventually settle amicably out of court as it would be the common sense thing to do and hopefully the NCAA will do the right thing for once and not interfere. There are 2 videos of the play on the blog: One the whole play, the other a closeup from the end zone.

The CBS TV Show “Cold Case” makes me mad as hell and I’m not going to take it anymore. Once again they have totally misinterpreted the law and foisted their right wing propoganda on the viewers.

I love moron movies. Moron movies are movies with no real point, no social value that totally entertain you and are universally panned by the critics. “Maximum Overdrive” featuring an awesome soundtrack by AC/DC that sets the pace of the movie and written and directed by Stephen King is one of the great Moron Movies Ever which is the highest compliment I can give a movie!

One of the things that I find truly fascinating in life is how celebrities worth millions manage to find plastic surgeons who make them look worse. Is it the Plastic Surgeons Fault or is it the celebrities for being on left field and looking at right or is it the person who led the celebrity [...]

I just read a rumor that the CW which recently remade/recycled Beverly Hills 90210 is thinking of doing the same to one of my favorite shows Melrose Place. This follows a trend of movies being adapted from old TV Shows like Get Smart, Starsky and Hutch, Bewitched, ad nausuem. The question is why considering almost [...]

I’ve never had problems getting girlfriends, mainly because I’ve never been a woman’s best friend first. Anyone who is best friends with a woman and then wants the relationship to turn romantic is in left field looking at right.

When I was growing up in the 60’s, Ventriloquist Paul Winchell and his dummies Jerry Mahoney and Knucklehead Smiff were my heroes as well as the Beatles, Mickey Mantle and many other legends. Unfortunately today because of corporate America, Paul Winchell’s legacy is a fraction of what it should be as most of the video of his TV series have been erased.

Of all the people I do not personally know, I dislike Sarah Palin even more than Paris Hilton and that says a lot.

Call me paranoid but I think Hollywood has been using clones particularly on TV for the last 30 years. I have trouble telling actors John Slattery (Roger Sterling of Mad Men), Victor Gerber (Jack Bristow of Alias) and Colin O’Farrell probably the one who’s name is not as known but his face is as Undersheriff Jeffrey McKeen of CSI) apart.

The only reason I honestly have a Bowflex is to look decent for my girlfriend. I’m male by the way! By decent I mean in shape and toned but not bulging with muscles or having a 6 pack or anything. Decent enough in plain English that its acceptable enough that a woman isn’t going to think twice about having sex with me! I know I’m suppose to say all the health stuff which is a side benefit but I wanted to blunt with people like me who need motivations to work out!

One thing I don’t understand about some NFL teams today is why after say their first 4-6 games they don’t realize that they are mediocre at best and by using the same plays with the same personnel they are just due to drone the season out producing terrible to mediocre results? In the 1970’s, the [...]

I actually liked One Tree Hill the first couple of couple of years on TV as it kind of kept it real and it used basketball like Friday Night Lights on NBC uses football but not quite as good. Over the last few years the show to me has become “Melrose Place on Crack” and I feel ashamed of watching it but somehow I still do. Of all the insane things they’ve done though and the most unrealistic is the storyline about Nathan’s Scott’s comeback attempt to play in the NBA.

I’m a big fan of USC Football. A totally great team with great players up the wazoo and great players backing them and backing them. But the one thing I don’t get and this is why I was never a football player is why would someone want to go to a school where the talent [...]

Here are some tips and different options I’ve learned by trial and error over the years on how to improve your CD sound. Each of these tips can be done independent of each other or in tandem. I mainly listen to classic rock and blues CDs and my tastes are geared to this music.

This is going to be the first complimentary blog I’ve ever written on Vice President Candidate Sarah Palin at the Gifts and Free Advice Blog (www.giftsandfreeadvice.com/free_advice ) I just saw this photo of Sarah Palin taken when she was going to the University of Idaho in 1986 and she, to be totally politically incorrect, looked [...]

Howard Stern said on his show recently that he’s not into Heroes on NBC any more because there are too many heroes and villains to follow which is the root of the shows problem this year

If you don’t have Health Insurance Coverage, you are a walking time bomb waiting to economically explode as well as suffer physically. I’m lucky in that I’ve always had good health insurance either covered by my parents, college or my job and I always took it for granted till what happened to me 5 years ago.

If any of you are trying to put together a great quality Home Theater System but just can’t afford the cost, well this I put together this one for you which you can obtain from different online sources at your option if you wish. It’s kind of how I put my system together. If this can help you out, great. If not, maybe it will help guide you to what you’re looking for. This system is a combination of New and Used Equipment. I’ve left out used Video equipment such as DVD Recorders and HDTV’s. Used DVD Recorders never last and I’d never chance anything on a used HD TV.

Eric Cartman of South Park could never run for President because even at age 10 or 11, he’s done too many bad things of which there is a record or witness too. If you are under 21, and hope one day to run for President of the United States you had better clean up your act now or be prepared for the Sarah Palin treatment in the future, only in your case it won’t get you live on Saturday Night but a quick kick to the curb. I should say it’s a shame about Eric Cartman as he has the brains and organizational skills to have been an excellent President, just look how he handled the Scott Tenorman situation!

I don’t know about the rest of you but my life became so much better when I started renting my HD DVR from my Cable Company about 2 years ago. Actually I rent 2 of them, both for just myself and the cost is relatively cheap, about $25 a month for the 2 of them including the service. For the purpose of this blog, consider when I refer to the word DVR to mean the same as TIVO.
