This past week’s CBS Without a Trace “Better Angels” episode was a classic for the series as Jack Malone(Anthony LaPaglia) has made the full conversion to horny sleazeball. I think this is a first for a drama series on TV. Usually, there’s always an excuse for a characters contrived bad behavior like drugs or alcohol [...]

A lot of people no longer listen to or buy CDs which is cool but if you’re like me and value audio quality, chances are you still buy CDs and want to listen to them on the best sounding CD player you can afford. CD players still greatly affect sound quality even if CDs are [...]

My teeth were never that bad, thank God!
The most obvious sign that a person is not successful is bad teeth which indicates to most people that you do not care about your appearance, have bad health habits and in all likelihood are poor. Believe me that creates an immediate impression on someone. However shallow this [...]

I just watched “The Insatiable” figuring to kill a few hours. I was shocked as this was one of the most underrated movies I’ve ever seen and definitely the best talking Vampire Movie (”Nosferatu” was silent) I’ve seen. In addition, the acting and writing were great. The actress who played the Vampire, Charlotte Ayanna, was [...]

Chess Records of Chicago put out some of the best blues, R&B, and early rock and roll records of the Fifties and Sixties and is now the subject of not one but two different movies coming out: “Cadillac Records” starring Adrien Brody as Leonard Chess, Cedric the Entertainer as Willie Dixon, Mos Def as Chuck Berry, Columbus Short as Little Walter, Jeffrey Wright as Muddy Waters, and BeyoncĂ© Knowles as Etta James and “Who Do You Love” with a lesser known cast (I would have listed the leads but no offense intended I never heard of any of them). I thought before the great music of Chess Records is trivialized and “bastardized” by companies trying to cash in on these movies, that I’d recommend the best “Best Of” original recording collections on CD of some of the great Chess Recording Artists, so anyone interested in hearing more will know where to look.

“The Collector”, is one of the greatest Supernatural Fantasy TV Shows about the Devil that most people in the US never saw, let alone knew existed. The Collector was a Canadian TV Series that ran for 3 years, from 2004 to 2006, apparently shown in US syndication in only a few places, why I don’t know.

Here are 3 ways that you can start a successful home business with little investment and no inventory that I do and is a great way to make money from home. Initially think of this as a way to supplement your income and as you become more and more successful, then you can think about doing this full-time but its not going to happen over night, so don’t give up your regular job beforehand. The 3 ways I make money from home are: 1. I buy things that I consider totally under priced on Ebay and then resell them at a price thats worth my while to make a decent profit, 2. I own my own Professional E-Commerce Online Stores with their own Individual Internet Domain Name(s) for which people buy products and goods that are owned and maintained by a billion dollar company that processes the sales transaction and sends out the products and pays me 4-6% of the gross sales price for each item sold from my Store without me doing anything! and 3. I write a blog, which you are reading actually where I make money from Google Adsense ads as well as make money by promoting my own e-commerce stores and make 4-6% for each sale I make on those stores.

Here are 15 inventions I would like to see invented. If they all existed I’d feel like I was in Heaven. A few of them originated on Star Trek or its spin offs. I’m counting pills for healthy as inventions for the purpose of this article.

I’m a Kurt Warner fan and I applaud the Arizona Cardinals for having a great season but if they want to win in the NFL Playoffs the team has got to get their act together. They are the most untogether winning playoff contender team I have seen in years and that includes both the coaching and the players.

If someone would have told you 3 years ago that Matt Cassel would have performed better in the NFL than Matt Leinart who he backed up at USC, you’d say they were on crack!

No one illustrates the importance of owning a band, business or product’s name more so than Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses. Musicians as well as businessmen and inventors can learn from him as no matter what you think, he is one smart dude.

This is a spoiler never espoused by anyone on how I think the ABC version of Life From Mars will explain how Sam Tyler got to 1973. And no, it isn’t the British explanation but something that might freak you out, seriously!

The 1965 New York Giants went and I kid you not, 4 for 25 in field goals made, a 16% rate. That’s right, they made 4 filed goals in 25 attempts.

The NFL does not draft many punters because like field goal kickers many teams seem to feel they can get a good punter from free agent punters recently released from their NFL team or undrafted rookies. Here is a list of punters drafted in the NFL from 1970 onwards, listied by year, Round, Overall # in Draft, Player, College and Team for any of the curious.

Natalee Holloway disappeared on May 30, 2005 and her family still has not received closure for which the Aruban Government in my opinion has contributed. As little as I and most people think of the main suspect, Joran van der Sloot, I truly don’t think he or her friends murdered her or that he is some kind of criminal genius. At this point 3 1/2 years gone, it seems to me the Aruban Government is no closer to solving what happened to Natalee which is why I don’t understand why they don’t offer Joran, Daddy Dearest and his his pals full criminal and civil immunity to testify what happened as long as they didn’t murder, attack or rape her. I admit I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know if immunity from civil litigation is possible nor do I know if Aruba can grant criminal immunity.

The thing I hate about renting DVDs is, at least 25% of the time I get a screwed up on that some cretin has messed up and dumped on to the next renter. I’m sure that has happened to most people reading this and here are some tips to help you get it to play correctly.

The NFL does not draft many Ivy League Football Players, in fact last year there were none. Yale has had the most players drafted, 22, during this period. There have been only 2 Ivy League players drafted in the first round since 1967: Calvin Hill of Yale in 1969 who in my opinion was the best pro football player from the Ivy League and Marty Domres of Columbia also in 1969. Here is a list of Ivy League Players drafted in the NFL from 1967 onwards, by individual Ivy League School listed by year, Round, Overall # in Draft, Player, and Team for any of the curious.
