2012 Movie Video 5:28 Trailer End of World Seems Awesome

I’ve got to admit I love End of the World Type movies and this 5:28 exclusive video trailer for the upcoming Movie, 2012 starring John Cusack, Amanda Peet and Danny Glover seems like an incredible roller coaster ride through Hell. As soon as I saw the trailer I thought wow this looks like another “Independence Day” and sure enough the director is Roland Emmerich, who directed “Independence Day”. This is the longest trailer of 2012 online.
I barely go to movies any more as hardly any of them excite me enough not to wait for the Bu-Ray DVD and watch them on my great Home Theater set-up but I can’t wait for 2012 and I plan to see it opening day which is November 13, 2009. Having said that I should note that I regrettably said and did the same thing for the incredibly bad “Knowing” starring Nicolas Cage which totally sucked. I’m keeping my fingers crossed on this one. I started getting obsessed with end of the world/Nuclear War scenarios on TV and the movies starting with a great Twilight Zone Episode called “One More Pallbearer” in which a millionaire invites 3 people who he feels wronged him into his bomb shelter. That was followed by the Vincent Price classic “The Last Man on Earth” and so on. One of my favorite movies of this genre was “Miracle Mile” with Anthony Edwards. My biggest fear is that somehow the Hadron Collider will somehow cause the end of the world but there’s no sense thinking about it when I can watch it happen in November 13 watching 2012.
