I was shocked the other day when I saw actor Robert Loggia in one of those Mac commercials- I didn’t know Ghosts appeared on commercials! Golly as Gomer Pyle would say, it wasn’t a ghost, Robert Loggia is alive! I thought the dude had died years ago. I always loved him as an actor especially his voice.

When I went to IMDB and found he was alive, I was shocked he’s only 79! I thought if he somehow was alive he’d be in his late 90′s by now! No offense, Robert Loggia. Sure enough, I wasn’t the only one who thought Robert Loggia was dead based on the IMDB message board. Especially shocking is he’s still active as an actor, he has a lot of movie and TV credits for the past 5 years. Good for you Robert Loggia. Apparently he’s done TV commercials before. Here is an absolutely freaky commercial he did in 1999 that I just found out about and looks like something out of Saturday Night Live but it’s a Real Commercial:

I just saw Robert Loggia on a 1961 episode of the Naked City TV series I rented on DVD and somehow he didn’t have that unique voice and look back then. Anyway, I’m really glad Robert Loggia is alive and well and just found out after watching the above commercial that I’ve been pronouncing his name wrong all these years!
