Anyone Who Goes to Bars to Pick Up Women Is Wasting their Time
One of th biggest wastes in my life when I was younger was going to bars to pick up women. It’s a losing proposition and I think the reason I and a lot of friends thought that bar hopping was the way to go, was the lies the media foisted on us via TV and the movies. Basically you got the impression that tons of good looking women would go to bars often by themselves or with a friend to get picked up by men. That’s so total BS and unfortunately it took me several years to realize it.
To begin with I don’t think I ever saw a woman by herself in a bar unless she was an actual prostitute. 98% of the women I saw at bars were nothing physically special, in other words if I passed them walking on the street during the afternoon, I wouldn’t stop in my tracks! I’m not saying they were all ugly but most of them were average looking at best and I don’t need to go out with an average looking woman. Yeah, I’m superficial. Lastly, most of the women who go to bars with their friends are basically there to enjoy their friends company and security and are really not serious about looking for someone to have a relationship with.
The bottom line is, 9 times out of 10, if you even strike up a conversation with anyone at all, they:
1. Won’t go home to have sex with you – OK I can see that, 2. Will give you a nonexistent number, 3. Will tell you that their life is too complicated to see someone, 4. Will say that their long lost college roommate who they haven’t seen in 5 years unexpectedly dropped in and so the next few weeks are bad and say give me your number and that’s thrown out the second she leaves, etc.
Basically the best three ways to meet a woman is, in no particular order, (1) through online dating/personal ads provided she provides a good picture of what she looks like, (2) through friends and (3) religious services/organizations.
In my case, my friends weren’t about to introduce me to a hottie as they were looking for one themselves, I’m not religious and haven’t attended religious services and can’t sit through one in the hopes I’ll meet the woman of my dreams. I have however used personal ads and online dating and wound up having several long term/live in relationships, with 3 beautiful women. So you might want to pursue that instead of wasting times in bars.
