Bad Blind Date Emergency Extraction
Here are some tips on what to do on a bad blind date for either sex.
1. Lets be superficial. If at all possible, try to get your date to email you a photo. If that doesn’t work then ask them which celebrity they look like. They’re definitely not attractive if they give you the “uh i don’t look like any celebrity. I look like me”, idiot BS line. If you somehow do get a photo or bad description, you can always call up with an excuse to break the date.
1A. Whatever you do, keep your phone call before meeting your date to a 1 time call not exceeding 15 minutes so at least you’ll have “material’ left to talk about in person.
2. If possible, instead of dinner just make it drinks as this way its easier to ditch them and/or you won’t be with them so long. If the date offers potential, then of course make it dinner.
3. Bring your cell phone and have a friend call you at a prearranged time. if you want to get rid of your date, act like your talking to your mother (even if she’s dead) and tell your date she’s had an emergency and you have to leave now sorry but it was nice meeting them.
4. If you absolutely can’t stand your blind date just be straightforward and a bit of an ass and just say “You know you’re not my type”. Get up and just say “bye” and don’t turn around and go out the door.
5. Alternatively, just go to the bathroom and give a waiter or someone who works there a few bucks and point out where your date is and have him tell her that you aren’t feeling well and had to go home.
6. You can always if your date doesn’t know what you look like but recognize them from where you agreed to meet, come early and if you don’t like what they look like just leave and then call their phone and leave a message on their answering machine that you had a last minute emergency, sorry.
Hopefully, you won’t have any bad blind dates but at least if you do, you’ll know what to do and make the process as painless as possible.
