While I love watching movies in Blu-Ray its incredibly annoying and time consuming just getting the stupid movie to play right away because of the idiot Blu-ray Disc load times and their set up menu which makes no sense to most people and causes more problems then good.

If all you want to do is watch the movie and not go through previews at super loud sound and as I said set up menus that make no sense, this will speed up your time considerably. If you’re an absolute movie buff and want to play around with all the Blu-ray features, then by all means go ahead. But if you simply want to see the movie in the best Blu-Ray picture with the Best Blu-Ray sound in English (or whatever the national language is in your country), without time consuming BS and nonsense just do the following:

1. Put the Blu-Ray DVD in the Blu-Ray Player so that it loads up.

2. Assuming the menu doesn’t show up and instead they want to dump a bunch of previews on you, simply keep clicking the forward tracking button on your remote (the one to the farthest right not the other fast forward one to its left that’s by seconds). As soon as the menu shows up stop clicking the forward tracking button. If somehow you’re lucky and the menu is shown before the previews, then you don’t have to click forward tracking.

3. You are now on the Menu. Do not click on Set-Up at all. As far as I know, almost all Blu-Ray DVDs automatically default to English True Audio Sound (the best Blu-Ray Surround sound) and the correct Widescreen 16:9. Do Nothing. Just Press Play and enjoy the movie. Afterwards you can look for deleted scenes and other features.
