I read Sports Illustrated Monday Morning Quarterback by Peter King because there are usually some interesting items on Pro football I would not be aware of anywhere else. TIME OUT UPDATE: THE DAY AFTER I WROTE THIS BRETT FAVRE OF COURSE SIGNED WITH THE VIKINGS! THE VIKINGS ARE PRETTY HARD UP TO DO THIS AFTER THE SEASON BRETT FAVRE HAD WITH THE JETS!

Back to the original blog as written:
There’s also about a page or two of what I personally consider boring filler but the good stuff certainly outweighs the bad stuff and for all I know what I consider boring filler might be considered interesting by other readers and I can just skip those bits. However I am sick of seeing the name Brett Favre in every single Monday Morning Quarterback and am wondering if Peter King has some kind of “Man Love” for Brett Favre-joking! or obsession cause this is Sick with a Capital S! The most pathetic thing King did in his Monday Morning Quarterback column for which I believe he never apologized, I am not 100% sure of this so if I am wrong, I will delete/revise this, is castigate New York Jets fans for not using their hard earned money and time to go the the New York Jets first exhibition game last year to watch Brett Favre make his first passes as a New York Jet in an exhibition game! Come on dude, get real!

Brett Favre is retired, he had his day, he was a great NFL Quarterback with the Green Bay Packers and its time to move on. I don’t give a damn about Brett Favre any more and I’m sure most of Peter King’s readers who aren’t Brett Favre fans don’t give a damn anymore either. Give it a rest, King. We don’t care. Move on with your Monday Morning Quarterback Column. In case it matters in the grand scheme of things, Brett Favre sucked for the New York Jets during the later part of the 2008 Season yet from what I read could have remained with the New York Jets for the following season. Instead he chose to retire. End of story. But then he wanted to play for the Minnesotta Vikings and then he didn’t and then he did. Enough already. Peter King stop the madness! PS Don’t condemn athletes on steroids when Sports Illustrated uses models with implants! It’s still cheating!
