If you are a fan of time travel, “Replay” by Ken Grimwood is a must read as it is absolutely the greatest Time Travel Novel ever written and was supposedly optioned at one point to be made into a movie starring Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts, but somehow fell through.

Even Heroes Promo Rips Off the 4400
I really like Heroes the first year but the show has become almost a total rip off of “The 4400″ a great show on the USA Network that was canceled too early. In fact Heroes has gotten so lame, they even, probably to show they’re cool, used one of [...]

Howard Stern said on his show recently that he’s not into Heroes on NBC any more because there are too many heroes and villains to follow which is the root of the shows problem this year

While I realize JJ Abrahams the creator of “Lost” and “Fringe” isn’t likely to read this, agree or care, for posterity anyway I thought I’d write while “Fringe” isn’t working and as a result getting bad ratings.

One of the most ignored, bizarre, horrifying freaky Supernatural TV shows that I’ve ever seen was Millennium which ran for three seasons from 1996 to 1999 on the Fox Network and starred Lance Henriksen, the creepiest looking actor playing a hero ever. If you never saw Millennium I would recommend that you buy or rent DVDs for all 3 Seasons, starting with Millennium Season 1. The show also stars Lost’s Terry O’Quinn, as Peter Watts, Frank’s friend and Protector of the mysterious Millennium Group. If you like the movie, The Ring (starring Naomi Watts) you’d like Millennium as it was somewhat similar in style.

Just saw the 2 Hour Premier of Season 3 of Heroes and while I thought it was very good, it’s also a rip off of Kobe Bryant the Los Angeles Lakers basketball star, the 4400 - a great cancelled TV series and Jeff Goldblum’s the Fly and I can’t say how so dissapointed I am by this.

I personally think both Presidential Candidates made stupid choices for their Vice President running mates Joe Biden and Sarah Palin. In the case of Palin, she hunts, fishes and loves moose stew. I don’t think that will get McCain the Vegan, Vegetarian or Peta vote.

I just saw a totally believable spot on the news which for some reason isn’t all over the internet as I post this up, that it appears the Zodiac Killer has been found and his name is Jack Tarrance. The above photo is Jack on the left and a police rendering of Zodiac from witnesses.

If it wasn’t for Star Trek Seven of Nine Hottie Jeri Ryan, Barack Obama might not be in the position to be the next President of the United States. Dark Horse Comics “The Goon” by Eric Powell is simply one of the best comics ever and would be a great Cable TV Series with the right actors. I just read that its going to be made into an animated movie directed by David Fincher (”Fight Club”) which is great but I would have loved “The Goon” to have been a live action TV series on Cable TV. Just imagine a nastier version of “Casablanca” meets “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” meets “Deadwood” meets “Sin City”. Ah, the dreams.

To all you sci-fi fans of Time Travel and/or the Stargate SG-1 TV series, I think you’ll be very happy with the latest Stargate direct to DVD movie, Stargate: Continuum.
Continuum deals with a whole bunch of time travel concepts including “the grandfather paradox” - if you kill your grandfather, would you cease to exist, and the plot is basically Ba’al, Stargate’s arch enemy, travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from ever being started causing the time line to change leaving the SG-1 team, the ones who haven’t vanished, left to try to restore it. This is where things get really interesting

I just saw via import DVD, Season 1 of “Primeval” which is about to debut soon on BBC America. The basic premise is that somehow a rift in the space time vortex- an Anomaly, has opened up in parts of England, leading prehistoric creatures including dinosaurs to go through time to present day England and cause havoc and destruction. The English government despite some of the gory deaths these “lovable creatures” cause by “chop chop” somehow try and manage to cover things up.

“The Collector”, is one of the greatest Sci-Fi Fantasy TV Shows that most people in the US never saw, let alone knew existed. The Collector was a Canadian TV Series that ran for 3 years, from 2004 to 2006, apparently shown in US syndication in only a few places, why I don’t know.

My favorite science fiction theme is time travel. I’m obsessed with it. I love all the paradoxes and possibilities, specifically about going back to the past and solving mysteries or changing the present. If time travel were possible and you were allowed to go back in time, what 10 things would you do?

After years of trials and tribulations, I’ve finally come up with a system to get my computer running very fast and efficiently. Here’s how I do it, feel free to follow, if you feel your computer and/or laptop (for the purpose of this article the term “Computer” stands for both) doesn’t work as fast as you think its capable of, given your RAM, CPU, Operating System, Hard Drive and Internet Connection.
