CBS Cold Case Promotes Denial of Civil Rights Once More This Fascist Show Violated Due Process
I’ve blogged before about CBS’s Cold Case TV drama which in my opinion has become the most Fascist Show in the History of television advocating the denial of a persons civil rights and violating due process. CBS should fire all the writers of this show and do an investigation as to whether there is a secret agenda of this show to promote the denial of civil rights and the suspension of due process. The November 9, 2008 episode of Cold Case, “One Small Step”, was the most blatant promotion of Denial of a persons Civil Rights I have ever seen on TV. I am not a bleeding heart liberal but Network TV should not be allowed to promote the denial of civil rights.
Basically what happened in this episode was the Cold Case Moron Squad was investigating the murder of a 12 year old that happened 39 years ago. They basically figured out who did it and during their questioning of the suspect, before he admitted anything, he said “You know I want a Lawyer”. At this point, questioning should have immediately ceased but no, the Fascist writers of Cold Case thought its all good and the Detectives continued with their questioning like business as usual. The suspect as all Cold Case Imbecile Suspects do, of course confesses for no sane reason and is arrested and put in a cell. At least I’ll give the Suspect credit for doing something that few if any Cold Case suspects do, he asked for a Lawyer! I guess the fascist writers don’t understand that as soon as a suspect asks for a Lawyer questioning must immediately stop as part of due process and a persons civil rights.
Of course if this went to Court, even a lousy Law School Student would get the entire confession thrown out of court because it was made after he asked for a lawyer. But “Cold Case” would never show that.
I believe in law and order but not to the extent that a persons Civil Rights are deliberately violated. CBS needs to have this Fascist Show clean up its act.
