Chevy Chase Hilarious in ‘Community’ Upcoming Fall 2009 NBC TV Show
I’ve never been a particular fan of Chevy Chase. I thought he was overrated on Saturday Night Live and I wasn’t impressed with any of his pratfalls which were so funny that I forgot to laugh but he does have his moments and when he’s on, he’s really on. I just watched a preview clip of Community, an upcoming Fall 2009 NBC in which Chevy Chase is one of the Cast Members and he is absolutely hilarious in the video clip which you can watch by clicking here.
I wish I could say the same about the rest of the cast and show but I can’t. The idea of this show, a sitcom about a community college full of misfit students and professors seems like a great idea but other then Chevy Chase I really wasn’t that impressed with the rest of the cast: Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Danny Pudi, and Alison Brie as they just seemed kind of lame- I’m sorry Joel McHale fans he just doesn’t do it for me in this preview clip and of course they have the designated annoying foreign guy who just sucks as the designated annoying foreign guy role always sucks yet they cast it anyway in comedy shows. Chevy Chase deserves better.
