Cleveland Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert Bitches But Marc Cuban Gets Fined!

Before you write me hate mail I think Lebron James cheapened the NBA, ESPN and Lebron James and turned the NBA into a classless circus. Lebron James had every right to become a free agent regardless of what it did to the Lebron Cavaliers and go to the team of his own choice but the way he did it was an embarrassment to himself and everyone involved. I hold NBA Commissioner David Stern just as responsible for the Lebron James fiasco as Lebron James. NBA owners are rightfully not allowed to collude but Stern had no problem letting NBA players collude. That wasn’t the biggest insult. He let Lebron James turn this into a Televised Circus. Getting back to my headline “Cleveland Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert Bitches But Marc Cuban Gets Fined”- Dallas Mavericks owner Marc Cuban has had many outstanding ideas but NBA commissioner always seems to fine Marc Cuban for stating his mind using the excuse that the comments were detrimental to the NBA. Yet Cleveland Cavaliers Owner Dan Gilbert was not fined and suspended by Daniel Stern for the most vicious attack in words an NBA owner has ever said about a player. I assure you that if a player said similar words about a team they would be suspended. If Marc Cuban said what Dan Gilbert said he’d be suspended by the NBA for a year! This is the same Daniel Stern who prevented the Phoenix Suns from beating the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA finals in 2007 by suspending without hesitation Amare Stoudemire who left the bench in a fight instead of suspending him for the next regular season. What absolute BS.
I actually agree with what Dan Gilbert wrote but he had no business whatsoever releasing his thoughts publicly. It cheapened the Cleveland Cavaliers and the NBA. Here is Dan Gilbert’s Lebron James statement:
“My statement to the fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers
Before you read the rest of this, I want you to know that this next paragraph is directed toward the fans of the Cleveland Cavaliers. To those fans I say this: You people have got to have the most immature owner in all of sports and the most misdirected people I have ever seen on television.
When I saw James’ decision, I automatically knew the Cavs fans were going to be so upset with him for leaving his hometown and playing somewhere other than Cleveland.
Now, all I have read and heard from you people is how much you hate the guy for turning his back on the city and your team and how much you will never respect him because he’s going to play for a team other than your beloved Cavaliers.
But really, people. Do you honestly think LeBron James wanted to leave Cleveland just because he wanted to see you people cry? That would be very funny to watch, by the way.
You people kept saying for weeks that if James left Cleveland, you were going to riot and disrespect him and burn his jerseys because you hate his guts and how much you want to tear his posters into pieces and how big of a wad your panties are going to get in if he left.
Face it people, you guys are not seeing the full picture. You guys are upset because you are afraid that he will go on to win a championship and quite possibly, multiple championships, and your beloved Cavaliers will be left with absolutely nothing. You just don’t want to be embarrassed if he ends up playing his first game back in Cleveland and scores around 35 to 40 points and the new team will blow out your Cavs. You also don’t want to be embarrassed if (or should I say “when”) James wins one or more championships.
Or maybe it’s because without LeBron, your team is going to get no more than 30 wins in a season. We all know it: without LeBron on the Cavs, the Cavs will go back to being a doormat for most of the other NBA teams to walk on once again.
Ladies and gentlemen of Northeastern Ohio: The speculation is over and the facts are real, LeBron James has made his decision. And based on his decision, I will say this:
Your nightmare has came true.

As far as I’m concerned Carter is a total hypocrite. If Lebron James had resigned with the Cleveland Cavaliere’s, Dan Gilbert would have said Lebron James is the greatest thing since sliced bread, yada, yada,yada. Long live Marc Cuban!
