If somehow there are any TV or movie producers or writers who by some bizarre quirk of fate is reading this blog, here is how to create one of the most memorable original and unique scenes in Movie History or TV History and correct the biggest mistake shown on cop TV shows, Cop Movies and Action Movies: The 2 Gun Standoff. Quite simply, when 2 people have their guns drawn on each other or one of them is holding a gun to someone while the other one has their gun to them, one of them either throws their weapon down or they both back away. What I don’t believe has ever been done in a TV standoff or Movie Standoff and is the absolute reality of a two gun stand off, is if you fire first and hit the other person in the head, they will not be able to get a shot off. There is also a possibility that if you don’t hit the person in the head, their momentum caused by the first bullet shot may screw up their return fire. As far as I know, a person shooting first in a 2 gun stand off and killing the other person before he can get a shot off has never been done on TV.
