Before I go on, I’m happy that CSI Las Vegas actor Gerald McCullouch (Bobby Dawson) is OK, but from what I read, his actions were just the opposite of what I just posted in my previous Blog about discouraging crime and not encouraging it. Mr. McCulluoch who I admit I don’t remember his character off the top of my head, apparently was using his laptop on a New York City Subway train trying to edit a YouTube video when someone tried to steal it and Mr. McCullouch fought back, the person unsuccessfully tried to stab him and was arrested.

I had just written on my latest Blog, “Protect yourself - Discourage Theft - Don’t Be a Victim” Click Here about not doing anything to encourage theft or a crime and this is exactly the type of thing I am talking about not to do - using your laptop on a Subway Car. I’m sure Mr. McCulluoch and many of you would disagree and say that why should you live your life in fear and not live freely by restricting your activities because of others and I’m just saying that sometimes maybe you are better off for it but that’s your call. As I said, I’m happy Mr.McCullouch is OK but if you were him and this had happened to you, if you were given a chance to go back in time, would you still have worked on your laptop on a Subway Train knowing that there was a possibility that someone would try to rob you and attack you?
