Don’t Date Game Players

For any of you, male or female, who are single, here’s the best advice I can give you in regards to dating that I learned from experience, don’t date game players. At best when you date a game player, you are wasting your time and psychic energy, at worst, you are going to be affected in such a way that it may affect the success of future relationships and you’ll get emotionally hurt. Believe it or not, you’re actually better off dating a desperate person than a game player because at least you know they’re sincerely interested in you and there are some actually very nice and very attractive desperate people out there. Which isn’t to say that you won’t find a non-desperate person who doesn’t play games to date.

Here are some signs to help identify game players early on. My advice is not to pursue seeing them no matter how attractive, nice or successful they are.

1. They don’t tell you their last name, don’t give you their home phone number, don’t tell you what they do for a living and who they work for. No matter what the excuse, it’s BS, 95% of the time. The odds are in your favor for not giving the person the benefit of the doubt.

2. The person is never available to take calls and/or doesn’t answer or reply to your calls in a timely manner.

3. The person cancels more than 1 date early on. Hate to tell you this, they got something better going on with someone else or they’re in love with their work.

4. The person won’t meet your family after you’ve gone out for a few months.

5. The person doesn’t ask you out in advance but expects you to go out with them with no prior notice regularly.

6. The person tells you things that make no or little sense.

7. The person doesn’t go out with you on weekends and always has an excuse.

8. The person doesn’t shut their cell phone off during date or answers them during your dates.

9. Someone of the opposite sex’s is on their phone when you pick up who sounds vague or quickly tries to hang up or they answer their cell phone and the conversation you hear makes no sense.

10. The person is unreliable and/or not consistent.

There are plenty of more clues to add to this. In my personal opinion if you have to give someone the benefit of the doubt, especially more than once, don’t, just kick them to the curb and don’t think twice. Move on. The odds are way in your favor that you’ve made the right move no matter what BS they tell you.
