You can put You tube videos directly into your Blog without any additional software or plug ins by just cutting and pasting everything listed in Embed on the right side of YouTube videos (Note I couldn’t find anything for the Britain’s Got Talent Channel). Making 2 or More Pictures One Picture Connected to Each Other

Always use a picture or illustration on each of your Blogs or your traffic will suffer greatly. I made the mistake of not doing this the first few months of my blog and it cost me dearly. Try to use whenever possible something that will catch ones eye in a good way. While this tool isn’t free, I invested $30 in software that lets me make 2 pictures or more as one master picture (i.e. if you have separate pictures/images of yourself and say a Dinosaur, you can connect them into making a picture by having yourself next to the Dinosaur!) which I couldn’t do without in my blog called Picture Merge Genius (Click this link)

My Blogs are usually indexed on Google within the hour when I use this link underneath. To verify your blog posts are indexed in Google, put “Your Blog Post Url” in the Google Search, i.e., Quotation Mark Blog URL Quotation Mark. Here is the link:

HTML LINKS to Twitter and other URLS opening in a Different Window for People Who Don’t Know HTML

Here are 2 important HTML links for you that will definitely increase your blog traffic and for which you don’t need to know HTML as long as you fill in the appropriate spaces on your Blog.

To link to another URL but in another Window

When linking to another post, always make sure the link opens up in a new window or else the reader will have lost your blog page. You can link to another page by using this HTML language: For the bolded URL and the bolded Words, substitute the URL you wish to link to and your wording, leave the spacing exactly as I have it with the applicable space:

To Provide a Link to Twitter that will Open in another Window

The wording I’ve bolded you manually have to fill in yourself for each individual Blog Post. Specifically 1. To shorten your various URL’s for Blog Posts for Twitter, you use Tiny URL’s instead of your regular long URL. To convert your URL to a Tiny URL go to http://tinyurl.com/ by Clicking Here There you just insert your Blog Post URL and out will come a Tiny URL that is fully functional that will get you to your Blog Post. It really works! I don’t know how but it works. For example this is the URL for this Blog Post: http://www.giftsandfreeadvice.com/free_advice/tweet-this-html-code-blog-traffic-has-increased-significantly The tiny URL is http://tinyurl.com/m4yuab Go ahead and put the Tiny URL Address in Your Internet Browser Address Bar and hit enter. See its the same web Post. 2. Use any phrase you want and substitute that for where the phrase “Tweet This Post” starts. You can just choose to delete any wording after Tweet This Post to a Friend Click Here if you want or delete any wording after Tweet This Post to a Friend, use whatever phrase you want.

Pinging

I both externally ping and internally ping for each blog I post.

For external pings, I use Ping My Blog which does a great job. Always use your Blog Home URL when using it not individual BlogPosts URL. Here is the link:
