Greg Paulus Syracuse Starting Quarterback Amazing But I Don’t Get Greg Paulus

Congratulations to Greg Paulus Syracuse Starting Quarterback. I think its an amazing accomplishment to be made starting Quarterback for an NCAA Division 1 Football team after not having played football since 2004 playing for Christian Brothers Academy in High School in where Greg Paulus was voted Gatorade National High School Player of the Year.
Greg Paulus despite being recruited to play college football in 2004 by major colleges up the wazoo decided to play basketball only at Duke University which is what I don’t get. Career wise this makes no sense. Obviously Greg Paulus is hoping now to play in the NFL. If he wasn’t why bother playing football at Syracuse University for a year after his college basketball career at Duke University ended? Greg Paulus was a decent basketball player at Duke University, a starter most of the time but obviously not pro basketball material. I would think he would have realized he was not a pro basketball prospect when he graduated high school or been advised as much by experts. Therefore if he thought he had a chance at a Pro Football Career, Greg Paulus either should have played both football and basketball at Duke University or gone to another College that would let him play both sports or just concentrated on football. None of this makes any sense to me whatsoever. The only other thing i can think of is, if he wants a career as a sportscaster, he couldn’t get more publicity for this amazing feat and if he doesn’t make it in professional football, TV networks will be bidding for him to join them, even without broadcasting experience. Greg Paulus obviously had a great time at Duke University where he graduated but career decision wise, his path makes no sense to me whatsoever, but I congratulate Greg Paulus for being named Syracuse University starting Quarterback. Amazing feat!
