HDTV Free Converter - Most Important Thing to Know Widescreen Screen Size Is Smaller than Regular TV - Use this Converter
To those of you have never bought an HDTV, I’m about to save some of you hundreds of dollars from making a serious mistake in buying the wrong size widescreen HDTV. I did this myself when I bought my first HDTV. Quite simply, the viewing area of a widescreen HDTV is smaller than the viewing area of a regular TV if they are listed as the same amount of inches. IE, if you buy a 32″ widescreen HDTV your total viewing area is the same as a 26″ TV and to get a widescreen HDTV the same size as a 32″ regular TV, you’d need a 39″ widescreen TV. Note regular TV has a 4:3 viewing aspect and widescreen HDTV a 16:9.
