I See the Future

As I write this post on January 12, 2008, I see the Arizona Cardinals beating the Pittsburgh Steelers, 48-21 on Super Bowl 43, as Kurt Warner wins the MVP and Matt Leinart gets in the game and also throws a touchdown pass. Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin and Edgerrin James also have great games. Kurt Warner, who I confess is my favorite football player, will then retire soon after, ending a great career on top. Matt Leinart will take over as starting quarterback for the 2009 season. The Cardinals will pay Anquan Boldin for what he’s asked for and get a bargain at that price and the Cardinals will make nice with Edgerrin James who’ll be back in 2009. Congratulations, to the Arizona Cardinals for winning Super Bowl 43.

This is one of those Blogs that Sports Writers and Sports Announcers like to do: Make bold predictions so if we’re right we get recognition and look like geniuses and if we’re wrong we just say, “I’m an idiot, what do I know” which lets the public know we’re big enough people to admit our mistakes and continue reading or watching us, lol!
