If you’re ever a bit bored and you love horror movies like “Re-animator”, I suggest you rent or buy “Frankenstein Created Woman” on DVD, an incredible retro horror movie from Hammer Films starring the great Peter Cushing made in 1967.

What makes this movie so awesome is the incredible acting. Just imagine a totally over the top script involved with bringing people back to life after they’re dead or in this case guillotined played totally straight by the actors who look like they totally believe in the seriousness of this script. All the leads are fantastic particularly Peter Cushing as Dr. Frankenstein. I’m not exactly sure if the time period of the story is the late 1800’s, early 1900’s or earlier but just imagine if Re-Animator took place in 1890 and was over the top pertaining to that era but not acted outlandishly.

I’m not giving away any of the the plot or action as that would spoil this classic movie for you. The bottom line is anyone who loved “Re-animator” will love this movie and would recommend “Frankenstein Created Woman” to all horror fans and people who have a void on their TV schedule.
