Is John McCain a Manchurian Candidate ?
Until about 5 weeks ago before he named his Vice Presidential running mate, I was going to vote for John McCain. I clearly thought he was the best qualified Presidential nominee basically because of his experience. I also admired him for being a war hero and surviving 5 1/2 years as a POW and still do. However, his naming Sarah Palin as his running mate scares the hell out of me and has led me to question his common sense. Needless to say I changed my decision and am not going to vote for him. I apologize if anyone finds this blog post disrespectful and distasteful but I find John McCain choosing Sarah Palin to be his running mate just as disrespectful and distasteful to the American people.
The only way I can rationalize his decision, is that maybe the guy is a Manchurian Candidate, however unlikely it seems. But Sarah Palin as Vice President and President seemed even unlikelier 2 months ago.
Let’s face it, to be totally blunt, I’m guessing most people, or at least people who aren’t voting for McCain, don’t think he’ll make it medically to serve a full term. So you would think he would want as his Vice President an experienced stable person. Instead he picks Sarah Palin with hardly any experience who seems to have led a somewhat bizarre life who can’t even control her kids as two of them spent their time getting high, stoned, on Oxy, used cocaine and got knocked up. Her idea of a debate is to not answer questions but memorize rehearsed statements endorsing John McCain repeatedly and basically saying during the debate the rules of the debate don’t refer to her. McCain and Sarah Palin then attack the media and the Democrats for attacking her family as she says that’s private and not applicable to the issues but she then talks proudly about being a mom during the debate. I wish Joe Biden just threw down the gloves and said during the debate “Yeah a mom of stoners, Oxy addicts,cocaine user and knocked up teenager.” Unfortunately he didn’t.
Well my Manchurian Candidate theory fits if John McCain isn’t able to complete his term and knew ahead of time in all likelihood he wouldn’t. Then President Sarah Palin is introduced to the world, a person no one in their right mind would have voted for President, and she will be a patsy for any of our enemy’s especially the people who made him a Manchurian Candidate. Let’s hope this whole scenario isn’t true and I have an overactive imagination.
