Law and Order SVU Mentally Disturbed Police With Guns
I know it’s just a TV show, yada yada yada, but NBC Law and Order SVU has degenerated into being a TV show about two mentally disturbed cops being allowed to run rampant with guns by their Captain who enables them and I for one am getting totally sick of this act.
These two mentally disturbed cops, Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Detective Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) are just an accident and major civilian lawsuit waiting to happen and any real life Captain would take them off active duty as opposed to the SVU’s Captain Cragen (Dann Florek). Cragen enables them by basically doing nothing other than telling them to take time off, and any real life Police Captain would remove these 2 knuckleheads from the job if for no other reason than to protect his job.
Basically, Stabler and Benson have gotten so screwed up that they think they can just run rampant like bulls in a China Shop and do anything they damn well please. I give the real life police more credit than to allow cops like Benson and Stabler to run loose with guns. The Benson and Stabler who started this show 9 years ago act like they’ve been on PCP and Crystal Meth for the last few years. Or maybe the writers have for portraying them this way.
