Led Zeppelin “Separated at Birth Pictures” With Other Celebrities Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones
Before someone reads me the riot act, I am a fan of Led Zeppelin and this “Separated at Birth” Blog with pictures is not meant as an insult but something I think most Led Zeppelin fans may enjoy. I did not include anything on John Bonham as I considered that disrespectful. To me Led Zeppelin were one of my favorite hard rock acts and Jimmy Page is the best lead guitarist in the world. My favorite rock CD will always be Led Zeppelin 1 and when I heard that classic album my music tastes changed to hard blues rock with a tinge of psychedelic music. Hope you enjoy this and feel free to let me know other lookalikes. Here goes:
Robert Plant and Comedian and Actor Billy Connolly
I’m guessing Robert Plant and Billy Connolly have probably crossed paths a few times if they don’t know each other personally. Billy Connolly started out as part of a Scottish folk band on banjo, guitars and vocals called the Humblebums who included singer/songwriter Gerry Rafferty later to find fame in Stealers Wheel (”Stuck in the Middle of You”) and as a solo artist (”Baker Street”)and the Humblebums released several albums with Connolly in the group. Connolly eventually left them to become a comedian and then an actor. In the United States he achieved fame as the lead actor for the last 2 years in the TV Show, Head of the Class and then had his own American TV Show, Billy. He later concentrated in movies and he had featured roles in such movies as “Timeline” and “The X Files: I Want to Believe”. I think these are the closest “Separated at Birth” pictures in this Blog.
Jimmy Page and ER Actress Maura Tierney
You people are either going to find this humorous or are going to hate me. I just thought they look like they could have been brother and sister. If you think this is insane, that’s cool. Anyway, no disrespect is meant to Jimmy Page as she’s a good looking woman and if she was my sister I’d think I had good genes. Maura Tieney is a 43 year old American actress currently starring on the NBC TV Program “Emergency” playing Dr. Abby Lockhart for the past 10 years. Before that she played Lisa Miller on the NBC TV Comedy “News Radio” for 5 years I’m probably the only person who thinks they’re separated at birth!
John Paul Jones and New York Yankee Pitching Ace, Bestselling Author and Sports Anchor, Jim Bouton
OK I admit this is the biggest stretch and probably a lot of you never heard of Jim Bouton even though he still was pitching in the Major Leagues when Led Zeppelin was playing live and wrote a Best Selling Classic Sports Book, “Ball Four” that influenced a whole generation of writers and changed the style of Sports Books. He also was a Sports Anchor on TV in New York City after he retired. I apologize that I couldn’t find any photos of Jim Bouton with longer hair or John Paul Jones with shorter hair in their younger days so I did the best I could.
