Lost with answers: NBC Persons Unknown Best 2010 Summer TV Series

As of July 4, NBC “Persons Unknown” is by far the best 2010 summer TV Series I’ve seen despite some really bad acting/boring characters and cliches. I know this probably doesn’t make much sense but despite all this the show is engrossing and captivating as you really don’t know what is going to happen next and each episode progresses to give real answers unlike Lost’s total BS Ponzi scheme! I consider the creators of Lost just as bad as Bernie Madoff as they robbed many people of their time.
Here’s a trailer for Persons Unknown but I assure you its not like “Saw” if somehow you get the impression from this trailer and deaths on Persons Unknown have not occurred on most episodes so far:
Persons Unknown is about a small group of people with no connection to each other who have been kidnapped and brought to a deserted town, whereabouts unknown, where they are prevented from escaping by painful force fields and essentially treated like rats in a lab experiment. What’s engrossing is trying to figure out what the experiment is and why with these people. Unlike Lost however, the characters in my opinion are totally boring with no spark and played by dull boring actors with no spark. Yet strangely the story is engrossing despite this. I find myself not caring about any of the characters but caring about what is actually happening. Persons Unknown is actually the Anti-Lost as answers are revealed as an essential progression of the storyline and Persons Unknown is about the Situation not the characters!
I suspect many of you haven’t seen “Persons Unknown” or are even aware that Persons Unknown is on TV as NBC has done an awful job promoting it. I suggest you look for the Five Episodes of Persons Unknown online to date as it would be hard getting any kind of vibe and understanding to watch “Persons Unknown” starting with episode 6. If Persons Unknown comes out on DVD, I think it will do quite well as the series is starting to get a buzz.
