NBA Teams Should Have Practice Courts to Use During Games, Duh!

For as much as NBA teams spend on players, coaches, scouting, technology, it’s hard to imagine how NBA teams can overlook the obvious which would probably help them win a few more games: A practice court that players could use while the game is in session. The same actually applies to college basketball teams too. Actually I overlooked the obvious too till I just posted yesterday on why an NBA team should sign Northern Iowa Guard Ali Farokhmanesh who beat UNLV and Kansas with his clutch and fearless shooting and use him in the last seconds when a score is tied or the team is losing and I later thought well its hard to make a basket if you haven’t been playing the whole game and have to shoot for the first time. Just then I had my Beavis and Butthead Light bulb idea and I thought that why don’t NBA teams have a practice court out of sight where players can shoot and be more warmed up if they’re not needed in the game right away. If some NBA teams are already doing this I apologize for my ignorance but if not, why not? I know some NBA players have at times ridden exercise bikes in the locker room during a game so why not have them take shots on another court while the game is in session if they’re not already needed? This would be perfect for a team that has a specialty long range shooter who hardly ever plays except for last second long field goal attempts.
