Neil Rackers Luckiest NFL Kicker Owes Karlos Dansby Michael Adams Career

The Arizona Cardinals Neil Rackers is a good solid NFL Kicker but today, January 10, 2010, Neil Rackers is the luckiest kicker in the NFL and he owes Karlos Dansby and Michael Adams Big Time as they basically saved his Career as a field goal kicker in the NFL or at least with the Arizona Cardinals. Had the Arizona Cardinals lost to the Green Bay Packers in todays NFL Playoff game, I have no doubt Neil Rackers would have been eventually cut from the Arizona Cardinals this year and in this case he wouldn’t be a scapegoat either for a playoff loss. There simply is no legitimate reason or excuse for a highly paid veteran NFL field goal kicker to miss an easy 34-yard field goal at the end of regulation with a decent snap and hold with the game on the line other than He Choked.
With the salaries NFL teams pay players, a team is not going to pay a multi-million dollar salary to a field goal kicker who cost a team a playoff win on a routine chip shot field goal attempt. Already this year the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins cut field goal kickers whose missed routine field goals cost them the game and I can’t imagine no matter how good Neil Rackers performed in the past, the Arizona Cardinals keeping him if they lost. Michael Adams as everyone knows knocked the football loose from the Green Bay Packers Aaron Rodgers and Karlos Dansby recovered the ball and brought it in for the winning Arizona Cardinal touchdown thus basically saving Neil Rackers career with the Arizona Cardinals. Isn’t it amazing that winning a football game on a play that he’s not involved with somehow buys Neil Rackers another chance while losing probably gets him kicked to the curb. I think tonight Neil Rackers ought to buy a huge amount of Lottery tickets and buy Michael Adams and Karlos Dansby Rolex Watches.
