Nicholas Cage Knowing Sucks Save Your Money Spoiler Review
I am a stupid victim of a “Bait and Switch” great commercial which I put on this blog about 2 months ago for which I apologize to anyone who wasted their money on this movie which defines the word SUCK. If you haven’t wasted your money on “Knowing” starring Nicholas Cage, don’t see it or rent it out when it comes to DVD. The plot sounds fantastic as apparently the dates of all the worlds upcoming disasters were put in a time capsule 50 years ago and the rest of this movie sucked like it was written by a bunch of high school kids with no sense of imagination copying every generic science fiction device in the world. Remember the writers names Ryne Douglas Pearson (story and screenplay), Juliet Snowden (screenplay) and Stiles White (Screenplay) as I would recommend never see any movie with their involvement in the future as in my personal opinion they give Hacks a bad name.
Here is “Knowing” in a nutshell, if you want to save your money and miss nothing:
Aliens apparently knew 50 years ago when the world would end so instead of saving kids 50 years ago to bring to some planet without TV, MP3, Lindsey Lohan, or the internet to repopulate, they decide for no reason to screw up some little girl and fill her head with dates of world disasters including the end of the world. These are placed in a time capsule that Nicholas Cage’s kid would receive in 50 years and Nicholas Cage would figure out what they’d mean and find out that he and the Earth are screwed and can kiss their ass goodbye. So the Aliens put Cage’s kid and the grandaughter of the numbers girl on their Rocket Ship and tell Nicholas Cage “See Ya, Wouldn’t Want to Be Ya” as they kick him to the curb as the Earth is destroyed by Solar Flares. The end. Oh yes, the Aliens keep leaving chocolate candy or is it miniature feces for the kids. Yum Yum.
