They’re called Pioneer SE-DIR800C HDPH Dolby Digital 5.1 Wireless Headphones.
Quite frankly these headphones are amazing. The headphones are very comfortable and sound awesome and have 5 separate internal speakers instead of 2. I was very reluctant at first to buy wireless headphones but these headphones were flawless. Absolutely no glitches or problems whatsoever. The 5.1 surround sound from DVD’s and TV is awesome, I think I’m in a movie theater when I use them and not listening to headphones. In fact I had to check a few times to make sure my 5 external speakers were off as it sounded like I was listening to speakers not headphones! CDs sound excellent too. For the best sound and easiest way to use this wireless 5.1 headphone system, I connected the base of the wireless sound transmitter by optic cable from my receivers digital output and I was in business.
I bought these headphones because I live in an apartment and can’t listen on my home theater late at night because of the neighbors. In fact, although I love my 5 surround sound speakers and subwoofer because I’m limited to the volume I can play in my apartment, DVD’s sound better listening to them on these headphones then hearing them off my speakers! I’ll be honest, if I read that from someone else, I wouldn’t believe it but it’s true! These headphones list for $385 but you can get them new on sale for $285 and they’re worth every dollar. They’re the best money I ever spend on home electronics. They rule!
