Save Money Without Making Any Sacrifices Its Easy
If you want to save money without making any sacrifices in this lousy economy its a lot easier than you think and you can do it without giving up much of anything. I don’t know what’s easier than that.
You can easily get for free or “rent” for a couple of dollars instead of spending a lot of money on things like books, CDs, DVDS and even comic books! Let’s start with my definition of renting which is different than the usual definition.
I’ve never had any particular interest in owning any book or DVD unless I needed the book for reference and the DVD was a rock concert or an incredible movie as I don’t usually rewatch a movie or reread a book. As to compact discs, a lot of them aren’t good enough to relisten to but I’m curious as to the music that’s on it, if that makes sense. An example being maybe the first group of a guitarist I like and I’m not that familiar with the group and if I buy the album without hearing it and don’t like it, that sucks right! Well my definition of renting is, you can easily find most books, CDs and DVDS online at the cheapest prices and they’re even cheaper if you buy them used. Well all you then need to do to “rent” them is resell them for a couple of dollars less than what you paid for them on Amazon or Ebay and you should be able to find a buyer. If you bought something new, you should probably lower your selling price more than you would an already used product. I recommend reading my articleon Ebay and Amazon Selling Tips Click Here The bottom line is by “renting this way” you are only paying a fraction of what you would have to own and you’re not missing anything by not owning these things unless you collect them. The main thing is, don’t be too greedy, if you price your items too high, no one is going to buy them.
“Getting” Books, CDS, Magazines and DVDS for Free
I’m not sure if you know this or not, I didn’t until recently- Many Public Libraries now have large amounts of Recent as well as Older CDs, DVDs and Comic Book Graphic Novels (Trade Paperbacks) you can check out for free as well as huge assortments of magazines and of course books which you obviously know. I hadn’t been to a library for a few years and was shocked at all the good stuff they had available to take out for free. When I was a kid, a Library wouldn’t dare to have comic books. I suggest you might want to check out your local Library or a library near you, to see what they have on hand. You might be shocked and save a lot of money.
