SETI Alien Signals From Outer Space Be Careful What You Wish For

SETI projects use scientific methods to search for electromagnetic transmissions from civilizations on distant planets. The United States government contributed to earlier SETI projects, but recent work has been primarily funded by private sources”, quoted from Wikipedia. The problem with SETI and all these programs looking for Alien life is what will happen next if we actually find intelligent Alien life exists. Be careful what you wish for.
First of all the United States Military which already has wasted billions of dollars in the War in Iraq courtesy of George W. Bush the stupidest person ever elected President will undoubtedly invest hundred of billions to battle aliens from outer space. Of course if aliens are smart enough to have enough ships to invade Earth, their weapons would undoubtedly be far superior to us and would make our Nuclear Bombs look like pea shooters. So wouldn’t it be better if we just tried to maintain a low profile instead and keep ourselves hidden from Aliens from outer space? I mean would anyone in their right mind go up to Mike Tyson and insult him? So why would we want to let Aliens know we exist because we’d think they’d come in peace even though we’d spend hundreds of billions on a defense system against them? Yeah, I know beautiful women are lonely and by themselves because no one asks them out. Yeah, right!
Even if by some miracle that the SETI Aliens did come in peace, don’t you think its likely that some crackpot would shoot at them. What are we then suppose to say, “Sorry our bad”? Bottom line is, nothing good will come of Interplanetary Beings coming to the United States. It’s time everyone realize this except the Martians or Venusians currently living amongst us in disguise preparing for God knows what.
