Sexting A Crime But 9 Year Old Kid Can Murder Dad and Do No Jail
Why is it that a 9 year old kid in Arizona can murder his father and his father’s friend and not receive any jail time (juvenile, etc.) but teenagers are being charged with sexting – sending nude pictures by cell phones and be charged with child pornography or some high level crime and have their lives ruined and the American taxpayers money wasted? Sorry it doesn’t make sense to me.
It’s apparently OK to murder as long as I guess you receive counselling and diagnostic evaluations etc., but God forbid a teenager should send a naked picture of his girlfriend by cellphone?
Look I don’t condone sexting but I don’t think doing something like that should ruin the lives of kids being charged severely by the law for it. I also don’t condone letting a 9 year old kid who murders his father and another man, out apparently in the street.
Apparently the Arizona kid murderer was allowed to plead to Negligent Homicide to spare his community of an emotional trial, Boo Hoo and not serve time in the juvenile corrections system or be tried as an adult. Yet they want to throw the book at teenagers for sending nude photos by cell phone. Something ain’t right with the American Criminal Justice System.
