Superman’s pal Jimmy Olsen committed suicide last night on NBC’s “Law and Order SVU”. I mean is nothing sacred! I remember the shock when I was a little kid in the 1959 seeing the Headline and Picture of Superman (George Reeves) in his costume on the First Newspaper I ever read, “Superman Kills Himself” and I don’t think I’ve ever recovered. Who would have guessed that 50 years later Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson) would commit suicide on “Law and Order SVU” because his Aids infected grandson knowingly infected many women with the HIV Virus having unprotected sex. I mean is this what the world has come to 50 years after Superman killed himself? Think about it.
