The Best Priced Best Quality 34″ HDTV Panasonic CT-34WX15 34″ HDTV

A few years ago, when the price was a lot higher, I bought for my bedroom the Panasonic CT-34WX15 34″ Widescreen CRT HDTV set and it was love at first site. This TV is absolutely perfect for the bedroom to watch from bed as the screen is neither too big or to small. It’s not one of these thin screen HDTV’s but it’s just perfect to put over a dresser facing your bed and putting satellite speakers on the side of the TV and on top as well as a left and rear satellite speaker by the dressers by your bed and of course having a subwoofer to the far right of your front dresser as well as a rack with your receiver, TIVO DVD player, etc. to the right.

The HDTV picture is incredible, rich and crisp. It’s a night and day difference from watching regular color TV. Picture on the older shows that were not filmed in HDTV look great as well which isn’t usually the case with HDTV’s. DVDs also look and sound great. As I always listen to my TV in 5.1 surround sound, the sound is supplied digitally from my cable company to my receiver and I haven’t listened to sound straight from a TV set in over a decade, so I have no idea what the TV sound is like, that’s a fossil that I can’t see on TV’s in the future but sound is perfect this way.

The good and bad news is that while the Panasonic CT-34WX15 34″ HDTV is no longer regularly carried as its been sold out, you can still find some at incredible bargains looking online. The best price I’ve seen it sold from is on Amazon.com and is $289 plus $249 shipping. This model is listed as “used but like new” and as you get a warranty, it might be worth your while checking out if you can’t find a new CT-34WX15 34″ HDTV. I wish I had one available from my own online HDTV store but unfortunately this model has been sold out from my store, www.2009HDTV.com

Even if you don’t buy this model, I recommend you don’t go below 32″ or above 34″ for an HDTV set for the bedroom, with 34″ being the perfect size. As a general rule the actual TV screen size for a widescreen HDTV set is smaller than a non HDTV set with the same screen size. You should also buy good component cables for your picture rather than use the cheap component cables your HDTV provider gives you.
