To any of my readers who’ve been screwed by The Man and have gotten fired/laid off or just want to supplement your income, I think the easiest way to earn money legally, assuming you have a drivers license and have access to small truck/van, is just run an ad in Craigslist that you’ll haul anything that is sold on Craigslist, no job too small or too far away.
There’s an unlimited market and opportunity out there for people who can haul Craigslist stuff (as well as anything else). Several times recently I wanted to purchase exercise equipment listed for sale on Craigslist but because neither the seller or I had any way of having the equipment delivered without spending a small fortune paying a moving company, I couldn’t make my purchase. There must be thousands of similar items on Craigslist in your city being offered for sale that need an affordable way to have these items delivered. That’s where you come in. All you essentially need is access to a truck/van and to list your services regularly in Craigslist under Items for Sale if you can. As for what you can make and charge, that’s up to you, but the more affordable you are, the more customers you’ll have. If this helps, I just paid someone I knew who had a Van $40 for about 40 minutes of work picking up an exercise bike for me and bringing it up to my home. You won’t get rich doing this but you’ll have steady work and steady money coming in and be your own boss. In any case, I hope things work out the best for you.
