Washington Nationals Stephen Strasburg Sent to Minors by Idiots

I stopped following baseball years ago as I consider it a dull, boring game but I do know the name of Washington Nationals pitcher Stephen Strasburg who is supposed to be a once in a lifetime pitching prospect, a modern day Sandy Koufax. Stephen Strasburg is clearly the best pitcher on the Washington Nationals lousy baseball team and this year in Spring Training facing Major League Hitters for the first time went went 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA, allowed eight hits, walked one and struck out 12 in nine innings and for all this was sent to the minor leagues today because another so called sports genius legend in his own mind, Washington Nationals general manager Mike Rizzo said, “I’m not a believer that a player can come from amateur baseball and step right into the major leagues. I’ve seen terrific prospects attempt it and the failure rate is too great. This is a prized asset.” Apparently, to quote Sports Illustrated online, the Washington Nationals brain trust, which is a total oxymoron as the Nationals won 59 Games and Lost 103 games last year, told “baseball’s top pitching prospect he needed to slow down his delivery from the stretch in order to speed up his arrival in the majors”. Forget the fact he’s probably the best pitcher on the Washington Nationals staff and that he’ll draw huge attendance to Nationals baseball games on days he starts.
The thing I hate about a lot of sports teams is that they are run by a bunch of idiots. Yeah, I don’t have much baseball knowledge but I do know that one improves only when facing experienced major league players not minor leaguers. If Stephen Strasburg truly needs to improve something in his game so much, as the Washington Nationals have made a multimillion dollar investment in him why doesn’t Mike Rizzo just hire some retired major league pitching star with excellent mechanics and pay him his asking price just to work as Stephen Strasburg’s private individual pitching coach while he pitches in the majors and gets experience? Duh! But I’m sure Mike Rizzo and the Washington Nationals brain trust know better as they were smart enough to have a 59 win 103 loss baseball season last year. The dumb stay dumber. I feel sorry for you Washington Nationals baseball fans. You deserve better.
