Why Do Politicians like John Edwards and Bill Clinton Have Affairs With Unattractive Women?
I’ll never forget what a friend of mine once said years ago when we were both having a bad spell with women, “If Monica Lewinsky is the best the President of the United States can find to have sex with, where does that leave people like us”! I don’t get it. I’m not talking morality here but why would someone want to risk destroying both their marriage and political career over some women who are not hot at all. For my definition of hot, see my blog My 10 Hottest Women Ever - now those were women worth risking the Presidency and marriage on! Before I go on, I’m excluding New York Governor Eliot Spitzer as I consider being a whoremonger a different category and Gary Hart because nothing was ever proven.
The bottom line is, I question the common sense of cheating with a not attractive looking woman. If one of these dudes had been caught with some hottie then I’d still vote for them because I could at least see where they were coming from, no pun intended, but not for a Monica Lewinsky or a Rielle Hunter. It really is kind of scary that people who had the potential to start the order for World War III would risk their marriage and political position for women who look like these women.
